PhD Candidate (co-supervised by John Baines)

Emmanuel has a background in Biochemistry and Infectious Disease research. Having experienced life outside academia, he has developed a particular interest in translational microbiome science and evolutionary medicine. He uses genome-resolved metagenomics, ecological and evolutionary methods, and multi-omics data analysis, along with laboratory experiments, to uncover the complexities of microbial life in humans and non-human primates.
