PhD Candidate (co-supervised by Andre Franke)

My focus area is profiling the immune repertoire and characterizing the functional antibody repertoire to get a better understanding of chronic inflammatory diseases. I am developing and establishing sequencing approaches such as Phage ImmunoPrecipitation Sequencing (PhIP-Seq). In my daily work, I focus on combining a variety of wet lab techniques while analyzing extensive immune profiling data. My passion is to disentangle the complexities of the immune system in health and disease, especially in the context of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). I work diligently to provide more insights that could lead to more precise and effective treatment strategies.
