PhD Candidate

I am joining the Bioinformatics Platform as Data Analyst. During my PhD, I had the chance to get familiar with different types of biological data that require specialized computational analyses. Metagenomics, transcriptomics, proteomics and a bit of genome topology (back in my Masters) are a few general examples of what I had to face in the past. In this new position I expect to expand those skills and be able to extract biologically meaningful results from a wider variety of data sources. I consider myself more bio than info. So, my analyses will place the focus on the Biology underneath the computer’s output, which is what in turn we aim to understand.
